1. Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning Officer (MEAL Officer, Level 7) based at Programme Coordination Office, Lalitpur with a frequent field visit to project sites in Dhading and Salyan districts
Job Summary: Reporting to the Team Leader, MEAL Officer will be responsible for the development and implementation of project’s MEAL strategy and plan to achieve project outputs and outcomes, as well as cross-fertilizing learning generated by the project with key stakeholders. Specific duties include: development of project’s overall M&E framework and plan, establishing baseline, development and management of project M&E database, M&E capacity building of project staff, and supporting the project team in the preparation of knowledge products, including donor reports.
Education and Experience: Master’s Degree in Agricultural Economics or other relevant subjects, with 3 years of relevant work experience.
2. Nutrition and WASH Officer (Level 7) based at Project Site Office at Dhading District
Job Summary: Reporting to the District Coordinator, Nutrition and WASH Officer will be responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring and reporting nutrition and WASH related activities on the ground. Building the capacity of field staff, enhancing nutrition awareness among target beneficiaries and other key stakeholders will be an important job responsibility of this position.
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Nursing or other relevant fields, with 3 years of relevant work experience in Nutrition and WASH Sector.
3. District Coordinator (Level 8) based at Project Site Office at Dhading District
Job Summary: Reporting to the Team Leader, the District Coordinator will be responsible for providing overall leadership to the project at the district level. Specific duties include: development of, and implementation of multi-year and annual work plan and budget based on project’s impact matrix/log frame, monitoring and supervision of field activities, nurturing teamwork, building relations with key district stakeholders, and preparation of project progress reports.
Education and Experience: Masters in Agriculture, Natural Resource Management or other related fields, with 3 years (preferably 5 years) of relevant work experience.
4. Admin and Finance Assistant (Level 4) based at Project Site Office at Dhading District
Job Summary: Reporting to the District Coordinator, the Admin & Finance Assistant will be primarily responsible for account keeping of the project. S/he will coordinate with relevant staff to ensure accounting and documentation of all financial transactions are carried out accurately and in a timely manner. S/he will also support the project team on administration, procurement and logistics management.
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree in commerce/management, with at least 2 years of relevant work experience. Residents of Dhading district are preferred and are encouraged to apply.
