A) For the post of Research Officer :- In case of obtaining educational qualification from an approved university, at least Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree must have been obtained with GPA2 or above grade point. The burden of obtaining the same educational qualification from a foreign educational institution. A certificate of watt equivalent has also to be submitted.
(b) For the post of Research Assistant :- In case of obtaining academic qualification through the grading system of at least Proficiency Certificate level or equivalent degree from an approved university, GPA2 or above grade point should be obtained. If you have obtained the same educational qualification from a foreign educational institution, T.V.V. A certificate determined as equivalent must also be submitted.
(3) Age :-
(a) On the 1st day of Baisakh of the year in which the investigation officer is selected, in the case of men, they have completed 21 years and not exceeded 25 years (with dates of birth from 2055/01/01 to 2059/0101) and in the case of women, they have completed 21 years and not exceeded 30 years (date 2050/1/1 to 2052.05.01 with date of birth). Not exceeding 35 years in case of employees of National Research Department.
(b) On 1st Baisakh of the year of selection for the post of research assistant, in the case of men, they have completed 18 years and not exceeded 25 years (with dates of birth from 2055/01/01 to 2062/01/01) and in the case of women, they have completed 18 years and 30 years Not over (those born between 2050/01/01 to 2062/0101). Not exceeding 35 years in case of employees of National Research Department.

5) How to fill the application form: Login to the website of the National Research Department www.nidept.gov.np and fill the application form online with personal details and necessary documents. The roll number will be maintained after the details filled in the application form are verified by the department. Then login your ID Password from the online system to print the admit card

(A recent passport size photograph.
(b) Scanned copy or photograph of Nepali citizenship certificate.
(c) Scanned copy or photograph of candidate’s signature.
(d) PDF file / Scanned copy or photograph of Marksheet and Character Certificate of the prescribed educational qualification or equivalent as per the post.
e) Candidates applying for tribal/tribal, Madhesi, Dalit and backward areas (with 2 months duration) under inclusive group must submit PDF file/scan copy or photo of certificate attested by official body.

(8) Application fee (Revenue) :-
(a) Rs.1,000|- (one thousand rupees) for the post of Research Officer and for each group above one Rs. 200/- additional fee will have to be paid. The examination fee can be submitted from any branch of National Commercial Bank by generating vouchers from e-Sewa and Connect IPS and Offline from Online. (Candidates who apply only for the inclusive group will also have to earn at least Rs. 1,000/- (one thousand rupees).
(b) For the post of Assistant :- Rs. 300/- (Rupees three hundred) and for each group more than one Rs. 601 (sixty rupees) will have to be paid an additional fee. The examination fee can be submitted from any branch of National Commercial Bank by generating vouchers from e-Sewa and Connect IPS and Offline from Online. Candidates applying only towards inclusive group should also pay at least Rs. 300/- (three hundred rupees) should be paid to the revenue).
Period for registration of application :- Within 30 days from the date of first publication of notice in Gorkhapatra, (up to 31/03/2080).
