Eligible Nepali citizens who wish to participate in the open competition for the following vacant positions at this Nepal Rastra bank are invited to apply online. The online application must be submitted through the NRB bank’s official website, along with all required documents, including proof of citizenship, educational qualifications (transcripts, character certificates), Nepal Rastra Bank’s equivalency certificates for foreign degrees, and any other relevant documents or certificates. The online form submission deadline is Bhadra 20, 2081 (September 5, 2024). Applications submitted after this deadline will be accepted with a late fee until Bhadra 27, 2081 (September 12, 2024).

Minimum Educational Qualifications Required:
a) For Advertisement No. 12/2081 (Assistant Director – Administration):
- Must have completed a Master’s Degree in Management, Economics, or Public Administration from a recognized university.
b) For Advertisement No. 13/2081 (Assistant – Administration):
- Must have passed the proficiency certificate level or equivalent in Management or a related field from a recognized educational institution.
c) For Advertisement No. 14/2081 (Assistant – Information Officer):
- Must have passed the proficiency certificate level in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Information Technology from a recognized educational institution, or have an equivalent qualification in a related subject.
Age Requirement:
- For Assistant Director (Advertisement No. 12/2081): Must be between 21 and 35 years old by Bhadra 20, 2081 (September 5, 2024).
- For Assistant (Advertisement Nos. 13/2081 and 14/2081): Must be between 18 and 35 years old by Bhadra 20, 2081 (September 5, 2024).
- The maximum age limit is extended to 40 years for female candidates, candidates from marginalized communities (Adibasi/Janajati, Madhesi, Dalit, and differently-abled individuals), and those already employed by the bank.
Examination Fees:
- For Assistant Director (Advertisement No. 12/2081): NPR 1,000 (One thousand rupees). An additional NPR 400 is required for each extra group.
- For Assistant (Advertisement Nos. 13/2081 and 14/2081): NPR 600 (Six hundred rupees). An additional NPR 300 is required for each extra group.
Examination Process:
- The Public Service Commission will conduct a written Examination and a Practical Examination.
- The details of the written examination will be published later.
- Candidates who pass the written test will be notified for positions requiring a practical examination.
Examination Centers:
- The written examination for Assistant Director (Advertisement No. 12/2081) and Assistant (Advertisement Nos. 13/2081 and 14/2081) will be conducted in Kathmandu, Biratnagar, Pokhara, Nepalgunj, and Dhangadhi.
- The practical examination for the Information Officer (Advertisement No. 14/2081) will be conducted only in Kathmandu.
