Nayab Subba Syllabus (Nasu) New Syllabus: PSC.GOV.NP
Nayab Subba is a highly competitive examination conducted by the Public Service Commission of Nepal. The exam is conducted in various phases and the first paper is the initial step towards becoming a Nayab Subba. The first paper of Nayab Subba examination is divided into four sections: General Knowledge, Nepal and World Geography, Nepali Grammar and Language, and Numerical Ability.
General Knowledge: This section tests the candidate’s knowledge of current affairs, history, and culture of Nepal and the world. Candidates need to keep themselves updated with the latest happenings and events around the world. Some important topics that are covered in this section are politics, economics, science, technology, sports, and literature.
Nepal and World Geography: This section tests the candidate’s knowledge of the physical and political geography of Nepal and the world. Candidates need to have a good understanding of the topography of Nepal, including mountains, hills, and rivers. They should also have a basic understanding of world geography, including the location of major countries and cities.
Nepali Grammar and Language: This section tests the candidate’s proficiency in the Nepali language. Candidates need to have a good understanding of Nepali grammar, including tenses, verb conjugation, and sentence formation. They should also have a good grasp of Nepali vocabulary, idioms, and proverbs.
Numerical Ability: This section tests the candidate’s ability to work with numbers. Candidates need to have a good understanding of basic mathematical concepts, including arithmetic, algebra, and geometry. They should also be able to solve problems related to percentage, ratio and proportion, and data interpretation.

Nayab Subba Paper II is divided into three sections: General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Administrative Aptitude and Management, Legal Aptitude, and Social Inclusion and Inclusive Development. Each section carries equal weightage of 35 marks, making the total marks of the paper 100.
The first section of Nayab Subba Paper II, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, aims to assess the candidate’s knowledge of current affairs, history, and culture of Nepal geography of Nepal.
The second section, Legal Aptitude, aims to test the candidate’s knowledge of legal concepts and procedures. Candidates should have a basic understanding of the Nepali legal system, including laws and regulations related to governance, public administration, and service delivery.
The third section, Administrative Aptitude and Management, is designed to test the candidate’s aptitude in administrative and management skills. Candidates need to have a good understanding of administrative and management concepts, including decision making, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
