According to the old method, grade E will be determined now. According to the old system, those who bring 90 to 100 are A plus, those who bring 80 to less than 90 are A, those who bring less than 70 to 80 are B plus, those who bring 60 to less than 70 are B, those who are bringing 50 to less than 60 are C plus, those who are bringing 40 to less than 50 are C, 30 to Those scoring less than 40 were graded as D plus, those scoring less than 20 to 30 were graded D and those scoring less than 20 were graded E. The result of SEE for the year 2078 will be done according to the old method.
Which subject will I be able to study because of what grade I got after passing the SEE?
According to the minimum basis prepared by the Ministry of Education for admission in class 11, students must bring a minimum of D plus in English, Mathematics, Science, Nepali, Social Studies in compulsory subjects in class 10 to get admission in the subject they want to study. Students who want to get admission in science group in class 11 must score C plus in compulsory science and maths subjects. It is mentioned in the Ministry’s standard that even if you bring only D Plus in English, Social Studies and Nepali subjects. In SEE, students take the exam in eight subjects, but in three subjects, whatever grade they get.
To study Science Group: 2.0 GPA plus C Plus in Maths and Science, D Plus in Nepali, English and Social,
To study management group: 1.6 GPA along with D plus in Nepali, English, Mathematics and Social
To study Humanities and Education Group: 1.6 GPA along with D Plus in Nepali, English, Social is required
For Tech Health: 2.0 GPA plus C plus in English, Math and Science
For Engineering: C in Mathematics and Science, D Plus in English
D Plus in one of English, Maths, Science to study Agriculture
D plus means pass or fail?
There is no pass or fail in the grading system. According to this system even those who get 2 marks out of 100 are listed in (E) grade. It means that the effort is not enough/totally insufficient but it does not mean that it is a failure. Therefore, even those who get only 2 marks can be admitted to the bachelor’s level with confidence. But you may not be able to study some subject like engineering/medical. Universities take admissions according to the minimum standards made by the Ministry of Education regarding which grade they will be allowed to study.
If D plus is not a failure, then why did the college ask me to give the exam again when I got D plus in my 11th exam?
Any college wants its students to score well. A student has been asked to re-exam so that he will not be deprived of any opportunity tomorrow because he got a low grade in the plus two exam.
And if I take the grade increase test and get a lower grade than before, which grade is valid?
In such a case, the grade obtained earlier is valid.
After getting D plus or less in many subjects, will I give the exam again or not?

And is it possible to enroll in the bachelor’s level without taking the exam again after coming to D Plus?
